Collection O 30111 Hotel Miland Palace

My room, 203, had a TV and set-top box that didn't work. The bathroom fixtures were old, broken, or unusable, and the cupboard was full of dirt. The linen and towel were new and fine, but that was about the only good part of my stay. At checkout, a staff member took my phone, rated the hotel five stars on the OYO app, and then explained how to use OYO money. I felt cheated, and that incident is why I'm writing this review. OYO Collection O 30111 Hotel Miland Palace has gone from bad to worse. Food cost as much as at Bhubaneshwar's best hotels, but the portions and quality were far worse than roadside eateries. The old, scratched, misshapen utensils made me feel like a beggar. Food bills could only be paid in cash, and the hotel wouldn't accept cards. They also added a 10% service charge without the customer's consent, which I understand is prohibited by government rules. This property seems to be beyond those rules. Breakfast was limited to upma and vadaa sambar, take it or leave it. I was told anything else, such as a bread omelette, would be charged à la carte. Given my experience with dinner, I wouldn't recommend ordering that. I wouldn't choose or recommend Collection O 30111 Hotel Miland Palace. Hotels around it offer better value.
