The food at the restaurant tasted good, and it’s right by the main road. The two reception guys were helpful, so I can’t blame them for the one star. Management is responsible for the false amenities shown on social media and third-party booking sites. The rooms don’t look like the photos. The sheets were dirty, some were damaged, and the TV had been out for days. No Wi-Fi, kettle for hot water, laundry, or lift either, so you have to walk up to the second floor. Remember the menu is just for sale, GST gets added to the bill. Flavours is downstairs, but the special thali and normal thali have the same items at different prices.

We had a very bad stay. There had been no electricity for many days, but they still pressured us to book the room in advance and didn’t tell us about the outage. It was a terrible experience.

Staff at reception and on the ground were cooperative, including with late-night check-ins and room changes when there were technical problems. Ola and Uber are easy to get here. The hotel is right on NH-16 near Palasuni and Rasulgarh, easy to find and handy for the Cuttack-Puri highway or the Museum of Tribal Arts. Prices can also be lower than more established hotels in the city center, which helps if you’re on a tight budget.

Anita was especially cooperative, and the service and food quality were excellent. Must try.
