OYO 49639 Nirmala Residency

When I arrived, the hotel said they wouldn't accept the booking I'd made through the app and asked me to pay more for a filthy room. It felt like a scam involving OYO. The photos online seemed to belong to another universe. The room was a disaster, with dirt and dust packed into every corner, linens that looked like they hadn't been changed since the Stone Age, and a bathroom that seemed like a bacteria breeding ground. Easily the worst place I've ever stayed.

The location is good, but that's all it has going for it. The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms are very dirty, and there's only one light with no ventilation. The AC and TV didn't work, and they offered no discount for either. They still demanded more money at check-in even though I'd booked at a good price. A scam hotel with terrible service. Save your money, this ruined my day and the vacation I'd planned. REGRETTING IT.

The rooms are a decent size, old but clean. They have AC, WiFi, a mirror and cupboard, and provide soap and a towel. There's a TV, bell and intercom too. There's a restaurant downstairs for when you want food. It also seems suitable for couples wanting private time, since I found a pack of Durex on top of the cupboard. Don't rely on OYO rates. The hotel has its own room prices, and they won't let you check in unless they get that amount.

The room service was good and the location is good, but I couldn't see any parking or an entrance suitable for people with disabilities. With no lift, getting around could be harder for disabled guests. The rooms themselves are small and cramped, and the washrooms are fine. You have to ask for towels, and the WiFi is probably 2g. Don't trust the photos on the OYO app. I paid early check-in charges but was first given a small single room because they said my booked room wasn't available. When I asked if other rooms were available, the receptionist said the one I had was good enough. After a heated discussion, they gave me a different room with two small beds in opposite corners, still not the room I'd booked. I raised the issue again, but they wouldn't provide the booked room.
