I had booked through Agoda for January 6th and 7th, but had to find somewhere else at a higher cost and chase the refund repeatedly. Locals told me the hotel had been closed for over a year, and that travellers keep arriving and making other arrangements. I don't understand why booking sites keep accepting reservations when the same complaint comes up. The hotel doesn't appear to be operating, so don't book it.
Renovation work was going on, and I couldn't stay after booking a room. The owner should have been told about the OYO listing. The hotel isn't operating as usual, so only book once you have valid confirmation.
I enjoyed my stay today. The rooms have attached bathrooms and the place looks clean. There was CCTV surveillance, and the staff were supportive. Paras Hotel is a nice, clean place to stay.
People were giving us strange looks while we were there, so the place's reputation was uncomfortable for us. I can't spell out the other reasons it's known, but it seems popular with couples. I wouldn't take your family here.
