Ajit ji and Sanju ji in the restaurant made meals memorable with warm, attentive service and quick help. The buffet had Bengali dishes, continental favorites, and fresh vegetarian choices, all flavorful, generous, and nicely presented. Cleanliness was a strong point too, from rooms and pathways to pools and common areas. Creek Resort sits on the peaceful outskirts of Shantiniketan, near Rabindranath Tagore’s cultural haven but far enough away for greenery, creeks, and quiet. The one awkward moment was a 10 PM call from reception checking our guest count because they suspected an extra person, which felt intrusive after a long day. Dal and vegetable portions were also quite small and need rethinking. Otherwise, a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway.

The Bengali thali was absolutely pathetic, though the multicuisine food overall was quite good. Rooms are comfortable and have modern amenities. The resort has a gym, spa, swimming pool, cafe, restaurant, and a small open-air auditorium. Two-storey cottages have balconies overlooking the lawn, pool, and auditorium. The check-in at 1pm and checkout at 11am were extremely inconvenient when travelling by train from Kolkata to Bolpur. For triple occupancy, they didn’t proactively set up the room for three adults. We had to follow up a lot for the extra bed, water glass, tea/coffee cup, dental/grooming kit, and towel.

A pleasant stay at a beautiful, easy-to-reach place with all the amenities. It’s great for a weekend break. The friendly staff and service took care of all our requests, and I’d recommend it.

The soothing resort atmosphere and sparkling clean rooms and linen made for a wonderful stay at The Creek Resort. The food was excellent, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. I’ll definitely come back.
