Hotel Calangute Central

During my six days here, I especially enjoyed the tasty breakfast with its good variety. The location is ideal for getting to both Calangute and Candolim beaches, as well as the local market. The room was clean and well maintained, and service was excellent. Thanks in particular to Tapan Mishra at the Reception and the rest of the professional staff. Tapan was extremely helpful in finalizing destinations and arranging bookings. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing beachside getaway.

The location is excellent, with easy access to everything, and the rooms we got were decent and had balconies. It’s a good, budget-friendly hotel for that area and room standard. Breakfast was very average and the food generally wasn’t up to the mark, though plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants made that less of an issue. The hotel can arrange cars and scooties, which helps since public transport is a major issue in Goa. Staff service and behaviour need work: they weren’t very prompt or cooperative. Still, we had a good stay, and I’d recommend it mainly for the location, accessibility, and decent rooms.

The front desk receptionist Dipika was extremely rude, loud, and mannerless. She argued a lot and didn’t know how to behave or talk with guests. Our room was uncomfortable because the AC didn’t work properly, and it was full of ants with no option to clean them. When we complained, they argued. Breakfast was unhygienic and not good. I don’t recommend this hotel if you want a comfortable stay.

The breakfast was a highlight for me, lots of variety and very tasty. The room was clean and well maintained, and service was excellent throughout. It’s just a short walk to the beach, so the location is perfect. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it for a relaxing beachside getaway.
