Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa

We found the rooms clean, comfortable and well cared for, and the staff were consistently courteous and helpful. The property is peaceful, green and well maintained, with a path straight to the beach that made sunset especially lovely. Breakfast was good and well organized. The whole stay felt relaxing and easy, just what we hoped for from a Taj property. I’d happily return to this North Goa spot and recommend it to couples or families.

The room was excellent, though the AC power points were a letdown since they wouldn’t fit standard Indian 2-pin accessories. The pool was inviting and well kept, with a bar right beside it, and the buggy service was prompt whenever we needed it. At Caravela, right on the beach, we enjoyed meals while watching the waves. The resort has a relaxed feel and a private beach. Mr. Manthan at reception made check-in smooth and was very helpful. Since we were there for my son’s birthday, we were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade and birthday cake. From arrival onward, Taj’s warm hospitality made this a memorable stay at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa.

Room service was good, and we genuinely liked the restaurant food. The rest of our stay at Taj Holiday Village with our infant was disappointing for the price and brand expectations. The guest service button didn’t work, and it was hard to reach housekeeping or concierge. Calls could take 5-10 minutes to be answered, then requests often took 40-50 minutes to arrive. That was especially stressful with a baby. We asked several times for 6-7 water bottles a day to make milk, but were given only four each time. Extra bottles took hours, and once never came. The buggy was also unreliable: it failed to show up several times, leaving us to walk long distances carrying our baby. There were lots of mosquitoes outside our villa, making it uncomfortable to go out. This wasn’t the Taj experience we expected for a family with an infant. I hope management takes this seriously and improves responsiveness and guest comfort.

The direct access to the beach was a real treat. We could stroll down whenever we wanted, and the private beach beds made it feel especially comfortable and relaxing. The resort is clean and carefully maintained, from the rooms and paths to the shared spaces. There are activities arranged each day, so there’s something to do whether you want to be active or take it easy. The team were warm throughout, and Drisha deserves a special mention for being attentive, friendly and genuinely kind. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. With its Portuguese-style cottages, lush greenery and peaceful tropical setting, Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa has a lovely Goan feel. We had a magical stay and can’t wait to return.
