Hotel Green View By OYO Rooms

The location is good, but that was about the only positive for me. The staff seemed like a completely disorganized bunch, and I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for families. It was my first bad experience with oyo, and I'm surprised a place like this is still on their website and in the oyoz protfolio. The photos are misleading. As soon as you enter, the kitchen is right beside reception in the middle of the hotel, so you get cooking noise and the smell of spices and onions in your eyes. Some rooms have no windows, and all the ones I checked smelled of cigarettes. The rooms and furniture were poor quality too. Thanks to oyo for stepping in on my issue and giving me a full refund for the booking. Don't trust the pictures or book this place.

I booked for one day on 5/6/19, booking ID UMLG3209, and my discounted rate was rs 878 with my OYO WIZARD MEMBERSHIP for TWO years. At the property, the staff first showed me the available room and acted fine. When I went to pay, they initially said they had a payment transfer issue with OYO and wanted cash. I was short on cash, so I got him to accept my card instead. Then he demanded rs 1200 and refused to honor the rs 878 rate, saying I could pay 1200 or not stay. When I asked if he understood I could complain, he said he didn't care if I complained to OYO. I called OYO, and he then said I wouldn't be staying under any circumstances, and threatened that if he had to give me a room after my complaint, I had no idea what could happen to me during the stay. I said I'd call the cops, and the LANDLORD came over. He said no matter whom I called or complained to, I wouldn't get a room, and if he saw me on the property after that second, I would disappear and no one would find me. I was stunned and left right away. I didn't feel I could stay and fight alone in an unfamiliar place. The way they were operating looked like a racket to me, and I don't think it's safe for families or couples. I complained to OYO and asked them to withdraw their affiliation with the hotel. They promised appropriate action, but three days later nothing had happened. I have recordings of the OYO executive, staff and landlord. From this, it seems OYO doesn't care about complaints and only wants MONEY. I plan to post the recordings and pictures on Twitter, Facebook and other social media. I doubt anything will be done about these people, but I'm sharing what happened so others know about the landlord, staff and property. Choose carefully where you stay. I'm attaching a little proof of the booking and complaint reference too. Complaint number 16265874.

The rooms weren't clean, and both the bedsheet and bathroom were dirty. When I complained about the service, the reception staff rudely told me to go somewhere else. Their behavior was unprofessional and rude, so I strongly wouldn't recommend this hotel. It should be removed from the OYO rooms list.

The room and walls were dirty, the bedsheets hadn't been washed, and the bathroom stank. The room itself still smelled bad even after room freshener. The drinking water seal was already open, and it smelled like tap water. There was also a payment issue. Staff behavior was the worst.
