OYO 9599 Vansh Palace

The owner was very rude and pressured me to leave a rating on Oyo's app. When I booked through Oyo, he said the rate was 500, then demanded 800, saying he wanted whatever amount appeared on Oyo. They keep 3-4 people alone and force them to rate the place on their phones. That tells you what kind of hotel this is.

The owner was calm and treated me well. Still, I'd contact the owners directly instead of booking through Oyo. The app showed 2500 for a classic room, but the owner gave it to me for 700. I felt Oyo was cheating me, and owners can be contacted directly across the country.

There were plenty of problems. The toilet smelled of urine and hadn't been sanitized, and the towel was unwashed and frayed in several places. There was no geyser in the room. I had to call the caretaker to switch on the motor pump before hot water came from a tap. Definitely not recommended.

The owner shouted at us, behaved rudely, and grabbed my phone to cancel the OYO order. He also demands more money and has no sense of how to speak to customers. The owner forces guests to use their phones to give the hotel a rating, so don't trust the 4.3 rating shown on OYO. The toilet was awful, there was no bucket or mug, and the blankets weren't clean. There's no safe parking. They even serve drinking water from the washroom taps. I felt ashamed to give this rubbish place one star. I wouldn't consider staying here, and would tell people to avoid it or risk getting stuck.
