Contour Backwaters

We explained our wedding requirements to the staff at their “resort,” and they agreed to everything, saying it wouldn’t be a problem. There are no backwaters there, by the way. When they finally sent the “contract,” after we had to keep asking for it, the terms changed: more money for fewer of the things we’d discussed, and they said some requests weren’t possible. They even wanted a lot of money for only four hours of venue use. Communication was difficult, and the staff came across as completely unprofessional. Don’t waste your time here.

I was quoted a price and duration in person, but both changed completely when I went to book. They wanted an advance payment without giving any written proof of the agreed price, leaving room for them to raise it later. The people working there seemed very unprofessional and mostly lazy. If you filter the reviews for one- and two-star ratings, you’ll see others describing the same experience. I’d suggest going to Crystal Palace nearby instead.

Suresh Sir, Manoj Sir, Sundereshan Sir, Nithin sir, and the whole team put so much care into arranging everything. The event management was professional, organized, and supportive, and the resort facilities were excellent. We had a wonderful engagement ceremony at Contour Resort, and their work made the day really memorable. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

We’ve trusted Contour Resort for years and have been there many times for family functions and dinners, so our visit on 25th December was a letdown. The first Chicken Lollipop was tasty and nicely plated, with foil wrapping. Later, we ordered Tangdi Kebab but got regular chicken kebab instead. With the Christmas rush, that mix-up was understandable. What wasn’t okay was ordering Chicken Lollipop again and getting something that looked like a different quality altogether. There was no foil, and the presentation was poor, unlike the first order. Even when it’s busy, customers should get consistent quality, especially at a place like Contour. It was sad after trusting them for so long. I hope management works on the service and kitchen standards and brings them back to how they were.
