Grand tower Chennai

The manager treated us really well, and all the staff were friendly. My friends and I had a great stay. I’d recommend giving it a visit.

The bathroom had no hot water, and there was no information about when it might be available. Moss or fungus covered the taps, a spider was in the corner, and the rotten door needs replacing. The furniture was scratched and dirty too. The walls were marked and stained, the sheet was torn and unclean, and the blanket smelled awful, like it hadn't been washed after repeated use. Basic hygiene was lacking throughout. I paid Rs 1200 for a single-person AC room, which was absurd for what I got. There are other hotels in the same line, so stay at one of those. Don’t book here under any circumstance. They seem to have little understanding of hospitality. Check the pictures.

For the price, the rooms are decent, and the washroom is clean with good, non-saline water. The location is handy, very close to Chennai Central, the railway, metro, and suburban stations, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Recommended.

We stayed three nights in a non-AC room as a family. It was a pleasant stay, with friendly staff and prompt service. A decent budget hotel near Chennai Central railway station.
