I only used the Bar, and it was quiet and fine, maybe because I got there early. The waiter suggested chilli egg when I’d asked for Toasted egg. I didn’t like it, since it was loaded with barter and ketchup. The restrooms were clean, and the audio was kept low, which made for a pleasant visit. There’s very little choice, almost like a TASMAC outlet, and the budget is on the higher side. I still found it worth it because there was no noise pollution. The lighting could use a little improvement.

The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in and the stay went smoothly. Hotel Chandra Park is well connected for getting around the city. The rooms were clean and roomy enough for a short trip, whether you’re with family or travelling alone. Basic amenities are available and service was satisfactory. Some maintenance and upgrades would help, but it’s still good value for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay.

The free breakfast had a nice range of choices, and check-in and checkout were easy. Its spot right outside the railway station is a big plus. The rooms are a bit small, though, and the sheets and towels could be cleaner. You also have to pay extra for bottled drinking water. Fine for one night, but an average hotel.

The bathroom was tiny but clean, and the window brought in an unpleasant smell and view. My room was missing a towel, which took 45 minutes and several requests to arrive. There was no proper stand for the TV set-top box either. During early morning check-in, one receptionist was dealing with every guest, so management needs more staff. Housekeeping workers were watching TV in a nearby room while their trolley blocked the corridor. Breakfast was complimentary but poorly organized, with one boy serving water to everyone and no water on the tables. The bar, meanwhile, had plenty of staff, which made the management's priorities pretty clear. Service and staff supervision need serious improvement, with more attention to guest comfort. Better attention to detail could help the hotel live up to its former reputation.

Housekeeping was the worst part. I put out the room-cleaning tag at 8 am, but when we returned at 6 pm, nobody had cleaned the room. It took several calls to housekeeping and the front desk before someone finally came. The receptionist wasn't welcoming, and when we asked for change for 500 rupees, the front desk said they had no cash. The bathroom was old and poorly maintained. Room service was somewhat okay. I've never had such a terrible stay, and they really need to improve customer service.
