The room and washroom were clean enough and decent, but the staff’s attitude seriously spoiled the stay. We arrived late for check-in, yet it still took them a long time to get our room ready. We paid for two guests, though they supplied towels and toiletries for only one. The woman at the front desk was rude and uninterested in helping. Soon after we got in, there were electricity problems and we were told to change rooms. We’d already unpacked, but instead of helping properly, staff kept hurrying us along. Another staff member spoke politely in English, saying things like “we’ll take care of everything, sir,” then made teasing remarks in his own language, apparently assuming guests wouldn’t understand. That felt disrespectful and unprofessional.

Customer service seems to mean offering no support at all. We were yelled at and scolded in their language by the reception staff, especially one woman and one dark, fat man. The service was awful, and I’ll never book here again. Oyo or whoever partnered with them will get a bad name because of this place. Families should avoid it. This isn’t a proper hotel, and it seems to be used for something else. The room had little beyond a light, a fan, and walls. The geyser, TV, Wi-Fi, and AC weren’t working. The floors in both the room and bathroom were sticky and stained, and smelled bad. You’d be better off in a dormitory with better service.

The manager and staff were discourteous and unprofessional, and there was practically no service. For what you get, the rates are far too high, and online and offline prices differ. The place is also listed under two names, “Majestic Hotels” and “Townhouse,” which comes across as misleading. The rooms are poorly maintained, and old AC units barely work. Housekeeping was little to nonexistent while I was there. They didn’t provide bathroom slippers, towels, or basic bathroom accessories. Not recommended.

We got a much smaller room than the one we’d chosen and paid for, which felt dishonest. The same property seems to operate under both “Majestic Hotel” and “Town House Hotel,” a confusing and deceptive setup. The bathroom was dirty, and basic items like towels and slippers were missing. The sheets were untidy and clearly hadn’t been changed, even after we asked several times. The manager wanted extra money just to provide clean sheets. The AC was old and didn’t work properly, adding to an already uncomfortable stay. The manager was rude and aggressive, and the place didn’t feel safe for women, families, or children. The washrooms were especially dirty, and cleanliness overall was unacceptable. Strongly avoid it. It wasn’t worth the money and felt unsafe and poorly managed.
