The location is a real plus, easy to get to, and it seems to draw business clients booking in bulk. Breakfast was another highlight, with a nice range of tasty options. I stayed three days, and the room itself was neat, comfortable, and well maintained. Service was less organized. We had to remind reception several times before basic toiletries were brought to the room. The room wasn't cleaned on the final day; we were checking out that afternoon, so we didn't follow up, but it was disappointing. A good business hotel if you want a clean room, convenient location, and strong breakfast, though you may need to be persistent when asking staff for things.

This was our actual experience at Mount Kailash Suites service apartment, Saidapet. We felt the owner Suresh and his helper Vijayabaskhar were dishonest and money minded, and that there was little respect for guests. We paid in full on the first day without being told the rules. The next day, helper Vijayabashkar called to explain them: a maid would come between 11 am and 12 pm daily to clean, without guests' knowledge, and outsiders wanting to see the room would be invited in during the stay. Suresh and helper vijaybashkar also disturbed us while we were sleeping. Their sweet talk came with an arrogant attitude that felt unsafe. There was no free breakfast, and the cooking utensils were outdated. It felt like being in jail until checkout. Very bad apartment, beware. Check other apartments, which may be much better than this low class owner and helper. Don’t trust them.

Mount Kailash Hotel in Saidapet, Chennai was a very affordable and comfortable place to stay, right in the city and close to everything. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, honoring each request with a smile. Amenities included hot water, breakfast, room service, air conditioning, and TV. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.

For 2500 to 3000 including taxes, this service apartment felt like home. The rooms were very clean and neatly kept, with clean linen and no mosquitoes or cockroaches.
