Treebo Trend Nestlay Airport

A handy pit stop close to Chennai International airport, especially if you're arriving from somewhere else like Mentality and need to catch a late flight. Day use is available if you ask. The rooms and breakfast are decent, though a little dates. Good experience overall.

I couldn't sleep during my four-day stay a couple of weeks ago because of mosquitoes. I asked to change rooms and was moved to the one next door, but it had the same problem. The shower in that room also didn't work, so getting through the four days was a struggle. At checkout they issued an invoice for less than I had paid and said it was because GST had been reduced, and that they'd refund the difference to my account. I've emailed them and contacted them on WhatsApp, but got no reply and still haven't received the money. After they saw this review, they gave me a mobile number that was out of service too. A horrible experience. That's the quality of this hotel.

We arrived late and found the rooms weren't as advertised. They said we'd been upgraded, which left us wondering what the room we'd booked was like. After a long effort to get a refund, we booked the nearby Marriott instead. Awful experience. I wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms are spacious, the food is reasonably priced, and the property is just 3km from the airport. What impressed me most was how quickly they listened to my feedback and acted on it. A staff member even followed up after I mentioned a small point for improvement. Amazing property and very good hospitality.
