We checked in around midnight, but staff knocked at 10:40 the next morning to tell us to leave by 11. We know the checkout time, and that was disrespectful. The front desk man was rude, stayed busy on his phone, and didn’t even show us where the room was. There was no welcome or basic courtesy. The room itself was in awful shape: broken commode seat, unsafe switches, unreliable door lock, broken kettle and hanger, no handwash or shampoo, and terrible cleanliness and maintenance. For ₹2200 a night, I expected more. I wouldn’t advise anyone to spend their money here.

The staff were warm and helpful, and I felt completely safe as a woman staying here. Tree top Inn in Shenoy Nagar was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were decent, very clean, and comfortable in the way I needed. A dependable choice for a calm stay in Chennai.

Parking for cars was a big disappointment, and the room could have been maintained better. Still, staff responded quickly when we raised complaints, the AC worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was just okay. Decent enough, as long as you don’t expect too much.

It’s a calm place with good rooms and breakfast, though a little overpriced. For lunch or dinner, they’ll order whatever you want from outside, and the food is good. It seems more suited to couples than business travelers. Fair enough for a mid-range budget. Book ahead, ask which room they’ll give you, and have them clean it before you move in. Have a good day at Treetop in.

I had a great stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the staff were polite and helpful the whole time. I don’t understand the negative reviews. At this price, nobody should expect a Taj hotel 😜. I’d recommend it.
