Vijay Park

We held a corporate drinks event at Vijay Park in Arumbakkam, and it went really well. Mr Lakshmi Pathi, the manager, made sure every guest was treated courteously and professionally. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and the venue was ready for us with a professional atmosphere. The food, drinks, ambience, and hospitality were all excellent. A welcoming, dependable hotel for corporate gatherings. Highly recommend it.

I held my daughter's first birthday function here 19 years ago and recently referred someone to the hotel for another function. I regret that now. The service at the function hall was terribly bad, and its bathroom was so awful I have never seen one worse, not even in public corporation toilets. I thought about taking pictures, but it was too horrible even to look at a second time.

I booked this hotel for our guest, and the staff treated them rudely, without basic courtesy or respect. The way they behaved was completely inappropriate for a hotel and showed no sense of responsibility. It left me very disappointed, and I won't consider booking here again. The management seems unfit to run this kind of business, and that attitude could spoil an important visit or business engagement. I strongly advise customers, corporates, and travel partners not to book or recommend it. In my view, anyone who does may have an even worse experience than I did.

The rooms were spacious, and the lounge was decently designed, but poor upkeep and cleanliness really dragged down the stay. The bed and room had bedbugs and cockroaches, so sleeping was difficult. Blankets and towels were old and unclean, too. When I ordered room service, the soup came in a single-use plastic container, and the food was just average. Overall, I was disappointed.
