Aswini Residency

There’s plenty of car parking, the washrooms are good, and the place is well air conditioned with nice scenery. I was here yesterday for an engagement, and everything went smoothly. The elevator did get stuck between two floors, but they fixed it quickly. This is one of the best places in Cherthala for functions such as engagements and conferences.

The restaurant was a highlight for me. The food was carefully made with fresh, good-quality ingredients, from local Kerala dishes to international options, and the dining area had a peaceful feel. Aswini Residency Cherthala also has a gym, spa, and free Wi-Fi, and its location makes it easy to get to attractions around Cherthala. Staff were ready with local suggestions and help. I found the hotel comfortable and convenient, and I was very satisfied with my stay. On arrival, the staff greeted me warmly and handled check-in efficiently. My room was spotless and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed. The service throughout was friendly and attentive. I’d recommend Aswini Residency Cherthala for leisure or business, and plan to return on a future visit.

During my one-night stay last week, the person at reception, who gave his name as manoj, asked me for a bribe on top of the room charge. I paid rs. 2700 for the room and 500 as a bribe. His service and behavior were very bad.

The hotel is clean and quiet, but the service is let down by the intercom. It didn’t work on either of my two stays, which is strange.
