Hotel O Ondipudur Bus Terminal Formerly New Paradise Inn

The receptionist said customer care would call both our parents to tell them we'd taken a room there. I had to explain plainly that the woman with me was my wife, which was insulting and completely inappropriate. Even though we never stayed, MakeMyTrip keeps sending me requests to review the stay. I booked through MakeMyTrip and paid ₹999 online for a room at Hotel O near Ondipudur Bus Stop. When my wife and I arrived, the receptionist and the room boy, who had on a Hotel O T-shirt, both seemed drunk. They weren't fit to deal with guests and acted in an unprofessional, unsafe way. We didn't even go to look at the room, and immediately asked to change rooms or get a refund. The receptionist then insisted there was no booking under my name, despite my showing the confirmation. MakeMyTrip customer care only told me the booking was non-refundable, and offered no help finding another room or getting the money back. It was a very disappointing and unsafe experience for a couple or family. I'd strongly advise people to avoid this hotel.
