We had a lovely stay at Lakeview Resort, with clean rooms, great hospitality, and very friendly staff. The candlelight dinner we booked was beautifully set up and made the visit more special. Yesterday we accidentally threw away a lottery ticket. Praveena from the staff searched the dustbin honestly, found it, and helped us get it back. Thanks also to the security staff for helping us exchange it and receive the money. Their honesty and support really impressed us.

The breakfast and dinner spreads were good, and staying among nature was pleasant. Our selected Luxury Room was spacious but needed some attention. It didn't have a lake view :) or an attached balcony. One thing to flag: the amenities listed on Agoda are misleading!!! Still, a decent place to stay.

We stayed at the resort for 2 days. The room was excellent, the staff service was good, and there was a scenic view from the room. But the “lake view” is deceptive: there's no lake nearby and no lake view. It's a little away from Munnar town, and the food was average. For the rates and rent they charged, it could have been better.

The only thing I'd improve is breakfast in the morning. The quality and choice could be better. Everything else was wonderful, and I had a great stay. The hill views from the property are beautiful and relaxing, and the location, ambience, rooms, and overall experience felt worth it. Staff were humble, polite, and helpful.

The services were quite good, and the hotel itself is decent if you set the location aside. The stay and the beautiful view may suit you if a few extra miles don't matter. But getting there is stressful: the car has to climb steep slopes, and some drivers may not agree to drop you all the way, which could be especially hard for anyone over 40. It's far from the main town, adding time, fuel, and cost. There are no street lights on the hotel road, which feels risky at night. Room access should also be improved for elderly guests. If you plan to visit places around Munnar, don't choose this hotel.
