The stay was okay, though there was very little variety in the food options.

I didn’t eat in the in-house restaurant, since breakfast and dinner were always brought to my room. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian food was consistently tasty, though a little oily, and breakfast felt skimpy, usually just two items. Room and food prices are reasonable. I’ve stayed at Hotel Heritage several times during recent visits to Cooch Behar, and the experience has generally been comfortable. The staff are courteous and quick to help. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with deluxe rooms that are spacious enough for a relaxed stay and attached washrooms kept in good condition. Still, the bathroom has no soap case, which should have been sorted out by now, and toiletries like shower gel and shampoo could be better for a hotel of this standard. It’s a comfortable, reliable option, with a few small things to improve in the amenities and food balance.
