The huge open area behind the building is a Chikku Farm, with a swimming pool, and the compound wall has wonderful WARLI painting. The building is old but still has an old majesty to it. Our room was clean and nice, with okay furniture and a big bathroom that was a bit filthy. The AC worked fine. We arrived late, at 8:30 pm, and though we had paid for 22 hours, only stayed the night. With 35 or 40 rooms and us apparently the only guests, we were received by just a caretaker and treated like unwanted guests. Breakfast was bland rice flakes, though the tea was good.

The pool area and the lovely views around the resort were a highlight for me. It had a calm, relaxing feel, just right for a break from the city. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff made us feel welcome. My stay at Aanad Beach Resort recently went beyond what I expected! 🌴😊

The location is great, right across from the beach, so you just cross the road and you're there. They have their own orchids and a playground, as advertised, though those areas need more maintenance. The room was clean, but upkeep needs attention elsewhere too. The food was really good, home-cooked vegetarian. Service wasn't professional, but the people were very kind and soft-spoken.

A simple, cosy spot, with the beach right across from it, about a 5-minute walk. Just don't expect luxury.

The Parsi old-style architecture was one of the things I liked, and the resort felt peaceful and cool enough that an AC room wasn't necessary. If I'd known, I would have booked non-AC. The pool was clean and very good, though its 2 pm to 6 pm hours seemed odd. We came in from outside at 4 pm in winter and the water was very cold. Since the customer has paid, I felt they could have kept it open from morning, but that's just my view. Overall we had a comfortable, good stay, and it's a good option in Bordi. Food at Anand resort depends on whether Maharaj is available, and it's a vegetarian-only place, so non-veg lovers may be disappointed. You need to bring food and drink from outside in advance and carry it yourself, since staff have no vehicle. If you ask them to get something or order it, it doesn't arrive quickly. We were craving tea and snacks in the evening. Even though we were the only customers on the property, I feel they should have all staff available whenever they're taking guests, whether that's one customer, one family, or a full resort. There were some room issues too. The geyser's hot water wasn't very hot and had low pressure. The AC didn't work at first, but started after we shook it a little. The entrance is so narrow that two vehicles can't pass at once.
