VITS Daman Devka Beach

We arrived excited to stay at VITS Daman, but left disappointed. I booked two rooms for my family, mainly because the pool was a big draw for my children. There was no hotel staff supervising the pool or keeping the area hygienic and orderly. While we were in it, someone came in wearing their clothes without showering first, and was chewing gutka. I objected, then left the pool with my family because I couldn’t risk anyone’s health. It didn’t feel safe or clean. The price also felt too high for what was provided. Food fell short of expectations and of what I associate with the VITS brand. We only ate breakfast, and the other meal prices seemed excessive. Thanks to Chef Karim for a delicious omelet at breakfast, and the staff were generally courteous and helpful. Stay Date: 23/05/2026 to 25/05/2026

I stayed for two nights in May. The rooms were cosy and comfortable, and the Deluxe Rooms are actually roomier than the Cottage Rooms. Food tasted good, and breakfast had a decent range of options. The dining area isn’t air-conditioned, though, so it can be uncomfortable in summer. Receptionists Isha and Sushant were especially hospitable. The property is decent for a short visit if you’re not expecting too much, but the dining area and floor passages needed more cleaning. Staff service was quite slow too, and the team could use better training and responsiveness. Overall, the rooms and food were the main positives, while hygiene and service need work.

Mr Sumeet and his team made our stay memorable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and gave us great service throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and we enjoyed the variety of delicious food. It’s close to the beach and was a lovely place for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

We were 13 people from four families, including one infant, on our recent trip to Daman. The stay at VITS Daman Devka Beach Road was comfortable overall, and the property felt good for the budget, especially for two nights. The kids really enjoyed the very good swimming pool. Room service was fine and the staff were decent, but they didn’t seem well prepared to handle buffet breakfast efficiently. When we asked for Jain food, the response wasn’t very supportive and they seemed unwilling to accommodate us. The rooms also had no refrigerator, which surprised us since we hadn’t encountered that in a hotel before. We asked both the front desk and housekeeping, but neither gave us a proper explanation. The property itself is good, though I’d strongly suggest improving service standards soon.
