Hotel Rockland Residency

My experience was terrible across the amenities, staff, rules, parking, location, and payment. The hotel is on the main road, but has no parking except along a steep, sharply turned path up from the road. After I booked through agoda, the hotel called and suggested I cancel there and book directly. I reserved a presendial suit 303 for three nights at 7000 per night and paid a 5000/ gpay advance. When I arrived, there was no parking and nobody to drive my car up the elevated road. My car was badly damaged. At check-in, the receptionist demanded the full 21000. The presidential suit turned out to be only a 10x12 deluxx room. I refused to stay, but they wouldn’t refund my 5000 advance, so I ended up staying one night and paying the balance immediately. They said they’d send a GST invoice at checkout, then said their CA would send it by afternoon. I found another hotel on Mall road for the next two nights. I’m still waiting for the invoice, and now they don’t respond to WhatsApp or calls. The worst experience I’ve had.

The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and everything felt clean and well kept. Our rooms were spotless, and the staff made sure the stay went smoothly and comfortably. A relaxing, hassle-free stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night and found the room clean and well maintained. Staff were polite and helpful, and check-in and checkout both went smoothly. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay.

The morning brought no hot water in the taps, so an attendant brought a bucket of warm water to my room. Earlier, I found dirty bedsheets, a broken Tab, and poor cleaning. Rats were making noise in the room’s fall-ceiling, and I had to push hard to shut the door. The attendants were rude when I complained, and the manager wasn’t available to hear or resolve the issues. I was very disappointed and feel this hotel lacks hospitality ethics. Visitors should check everything carefully before staying. I hope management improves the building and the service.
