Treebo Calista, Patel Nagar

It’s in a crowded spot, but the rooms were tidy and had the basic facilities. The air-conditioned rooms are budget-friendly and include breakfast. The restaurant had a good menu and great service. Breakfast officially starts at 8, yet they gave us bread and tea at 7.15.

I spent three nights there, on 6th, 7th, and 8th June, and had one of my worst hotel stays. The bed was filthy and infested with bedbugs. Their bites left me with rashes and red marks. There was no proper cleanliness in the room. The hotel was hosting a wedding, with music and noise echoing into my room all night, so I couldn’t relax or sleep properly. Finding the room was difficult too, with no clear directions or help from staff. The place felt disorganized and overcrowded. I’d tell others to avoid it if they care about their comfort, health, and money.

Our group of 12 stayed for two days. The service and rooms were good.

The dining area and room had flies, which made me question the cleanliness, and for a family suite booked for five, they gave us just two water glasses. They’d only change the bedsheet cover if something spilled, and there was no spare mattress. One double bed had no headboard or footboard, with two 4-inch mattresses stacked on it. The interior badly needs a revamp. It felt like a ten-year-old room that hadn’t been maintained, and everything from the lock to the mattress was in poor shape. Morning tea wasn’t available until 7:30 because that’s when the kitchen opened. The whole stay left me feeling the Treebo team hadn’t been properly trained in hospitality.
