You can find better hotels in the same area for less. This one was dusty and unhygienic, and the manager was rude and didn’t care about guests’ problems. From outside it looks newly renovated, but inside everything felt old, dirty, and smelled terrible. There were cockroaches and even rats in the rooms, and the stench made it hard to sleep. I found the place bad and unsafe, and wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I found this place at the last minute when I was worried about finding somewhere decent in Paharganj without getting scammed. Compared with hotels in the area, it wasn’t bad, and the rooms were clean. The price was a bit high, though, and watch the front desk: they seem to offer rooms at random prices based on how you look.

A rat running around the room was one of the worst parts of my stay, and it says a lot about the poor hygiene and maintenance. The hotel doesn’t keep its promises to guests, and the hospitality was extremely disappointing. Management had a poor corporate attitude, and it even seemed to me that many of the positive reviews were fake. Avoid this hotel if cleanliness, honesty, and basic hospitality matter to you. Don’t book just because of the reviews.

I spent one night at Hotel Grand Plaza with my six-month-old baby and my parents, and it was one of my worst stays. The manager was rude, didn’t help, and didn’t care about our complaints. Dust was everywhere. The curtains shed dust when I opened them, and the AC blew out even more. My baby and I started sneezing badly, then fell sick after staying there. The sheets and blankets were stained and looked used, the bathroom was filthy with two used towels left inside, and the bathroom door, toilet seat, and tissue holder were broken. Nothing worked properly. We couldn’t bathe our baby because there was no proper hot water. The staff kept the boiler off and repeatedly said it would come in five minutes. We waited 30-45 minutes, but no hot water came, and we left two hours late the next morning. This hotel felt dirty, unhygienic, and unsafe for families. I strongly advise against staying here, especially with a baby or elderly parents.
