Noam K.
I wouldn't bring children or family here. I paid for my stay but still moved elsewhere for the next night, paying for another room. The people running the place seemed kind and were trying to make the stay better, but the hotel and its surroundings worked against them. The hotel is fairly central and near the train station, but the street was filthy, messy, smelly, and didn't feel safe. There's a public urinal right in the middle of the alley leading to the hotel, so you can imagine the rest. The building and rooms are very old and dated, and the TripAdvisor and Google photos are misleading. Our room was very dirty and needed major repairs. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the linens had holes and stains, and turning on the sink somehow made water drip onto the floor. The AC didn't work at all. To shower, we had to move a bucket and stand practically on top of the toilet. There wasn't any toilet paper either. It was noisy until late at night, and a glass window above the door had no curtain, so bright hallway light came in. I think you get the picture. There are a few other hotels in the neighborhood that might be better, or you could choose a completely different area.
