Getting to the room meant taking the stairs to the second floor, since there’s no lift, and nobody helped with our bags. The manager was rude, and they wanted more money than we’d agreed on. A very bad experience.

I ended up paying ₹1,000 for one night because I had no other choice, after first being asked to pay ₹2,600 for a booking that had shown INR 1,300 for two nights. When I decided not to stay, they charged ₹700 to cancel. It felt like Booking.com and the hotel were working together to scam customers. If you’re in Delhi, I’d avoid booking through apps like Booking.com, Agoda, or Oyo and ask the hotel for its actual rate in person.

We left without a refund after hours of waiting, and OYO said it couldn’t refund us because check-in had been offered. That ignored the fact that we’d already spent an hour at reception. The manager laughed on calls with OYO and said, “customer bhi waisa hi pandey ji bhi waisa hi.” I don’t know about Pandey ji, but I couldn’t take any more after all that time. The place looked as if it had been put together in a minute. OYO support did nothing, and the staff were no help either. The manager was rude and laughed at me for not paying just 600 more. We’d prepaid ₹720 for two people. At noon, the stated check-in time, the manager still refused to let us in, and the app showed another ₹650 because he’d changed the guest count from 2 to 3 without our consent. Earlier, we’d been denied the complimentary 10-12 check-in under OYO policy and told to cancel the OYO booking and pay more by booking offline for early access. I spoke with 5-6 customer care executives, but they didn’t resolve it. Someone claiming to be the area manager asked us to wait 30 minutes. At 12:50, the manager said he’d let us check in.

The property itself looked hastily built and poorly maintained. OYO gave no support, and the hotel staff were very rude. We booked and prepaid ₹720 for two people. OYO’s policy said complimentary check-in between 10-12 p.m. was allowed, but when we arrived they refused early check-in and told us to cancel and rebook offline for more money. At the official noon check-in time, the manager still wouldn’t give us the room. The app had added ₹650, claiming the guest count had changed from 2 to 3, which the manager had done without our knowledge or agreement. I contacted support and spoke with at least 5-6 representatives, but nobody resolved it. Eventually someone claiming to be the area manager asked us to wait 30 minutes. At 12:50 p.m., reception finally agreed to give us the room.
