Hotel Yash Palace

The room size and rate were reasonable, around 1000-1200 for two people per day as of April 2026. The floor was cleaned well, too. But the rest of the stay was stressful and only okay at best. I kept asking about basic things like hot water, the TV, AC remote, mirror, and curtain rods. Staff repeatedly said they’d sort it out, but nothing happened. After I asked over and over, I was eventually told they couldn’t provide or fix the items and I should manage with what was there. Food prices were higher than the menu in the room suggested. They added 30 to 50 rupees per item, blaming a cylinder shortage, even for green salad and plain raita that don’t need cooking. There was also a 10 percent room service charge on the full bill, so I’d avoid ordering that way. The linen didn’t feel hygienic. I noticed lots of hair and oil stains on it. After several requests they moved me, so I stayed in three different rooms. Each had its own problems: one had no TV, another had a geyser that didn’t work, and another had no AC cooling, cupboard rod, or bathroom mirror. Management needs to pay more attention, or replace staff who don’t listen and resolve customer problems and instead just lie.
