OYO 14705 Hotel India Palace

Someone asked me to give this particular hotel a 5-star rating. That makes me think the 5-star ratings are fake, so watch out for this kind of scam marketing. We need to be more careful these days. 🥹

Arya Samaj Road is right by the hotel, and Jhandewala Metro station is an easy walk away, so the location is handy if you're new to the city. There's also a local market nearby for necessities. It's a budget hotel with friendly staff, and the service was better than I expected. I had a wonderful stay. Thanks for the service.

I had a really good time here. The service was very good, and the rooms were clean and neat. It's a great place to stay.

I stayed here for two days while visiting Delhi for work. The rooms are fine, and you can choose a single or double. The single room has less space, but it's okay for someone traveling alone. Room service was fine, though the man in his mid-50s who brought things up was much more talkative than you'd normally expect. The AC was a hassle: whenever you leave, they switch it off at the main switch, so the remote won't turn it back on when you return. You have to call reception. The rest was good. The complimentary breakfast was tea, two chapattis, curd, and pickle, which was good compared with what you get in Paharganj hotels. You can leave your luggage at the hotel and they'll look after it until you come back. That's useful if checkout is at 12pm but you have work that finishes at 2pm, so you don't have to carry your bags around.
