OYO 27823 Hotel Sahib

I went to Hotel Sahib on 1st March 2025. The rooms were dirty, the toilets were broken, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes and alcohol. I wouldn't stay there, and it doesn't feel safe for families.

The staff were extremely rude and disrespectful. The AC barely cooled, the fan was slow, and the telephone was faulty. They also kept switching off the AC every 3-4 hrs, saying the bill was too high. Avoid this awful hotel and try another hotel or guest house around new delhi railway station.

It's a budget hotel, I understand that, but management could fix a lot with a little money and some willpower. In our two rooms over four days, the bathroom lock in one room didn't work until I complained, and its flush and exhaust fan were broken. The AC was loud enough that you might want earplugs. The TV in the other room didn't work, and Wi-Fi was down on the second floor. We had to ask twice for a dustbin, and still they forgot. A double room came with just one pillow. I asked for another three times and waited at reception to make sure I'd get it. Some guests said they only got a towel after checkout. The non-AC room had no ventilation, just a fan. Cockroaches were around, including with us in the room. Housekeeping, room service, bathroom fittings, and the general environment all felt like 2/10. It's close to new Delhi rail station, so if you need somewhere for the night and are willing to put up with everything, give it a shot. I'd avoid washing my hair with the tap water.

This is the worst hotel in Paharganj. The staff are rude and seem ready to fight. They decide which Oyo guests can check in, and won't let you in if the Oyo rate is under 1000. Oyo is at fault too. I strongly suggest staying away from this place. They're cheaters.
