The stay was good overall, and I’d still suggest booking here, but a few things need fixing. There’s no hot water available around the clock, so after sightseeing you may not be able to shower in the cold weather. Towels and soap are provided only if you ask, so remember to request them. They could also be more customer friendly. If they make these changes and let me know, I’d update my review to five stars.

The room was okay, though the furniture was old. The things seemed good quality, but weren’t maintained or set up well, which was a bit sad. We were told breakfast was served only in the rooms. We asked for toast and black tea, but got a sandwich with omelet and onions, plus tea so dark and cloudy we didn’t touch it. We felt sick not long after eating.

I stayed only because I’d booked through OYO and was worn out after a long journey. I was with my mother and wife, and it was uncomfortable to arrive and find the receptionist and another person swearing at each other. They kept going even after noticing a guest. The room was in a pathetic state, and housekeeping hadn’t been done after the previous guest left. We waited outside until they said it was ready, but all they’d done was arrange the bedsheet. When I asked for a clean sheet, they said none were available. OYO should inspect the hotels it lists, since places like this can damage its name.

Inside, the hotel was up to standard, but getting there was difficult because the lane outside was really dirty. A taxi or auto couldn’t reach the hotel. The room itself was very small for the price, though the stay was good otherwise.
