OYO Flagship 632 Kalkaji Mandir

You can order food from outside to suit your own choice, which was the best part for me. The girl at reception was really nice, and we waited only five minutes to check in. The rest of the staff were good too. I'd definitely recommend this place for couples.

The rooms are spacious for a budget hotel, but they weren't very clean, and the food was only average. I usually brought food from the nearby KFC. There also seemed to be too few attendants, perhaps to keep running costs down at a budget hotel like OYO. They should pay more attention to cleanliness, because it matters a lot.

The staff were friendly and keen to help, and that's the only reason I'm giving this place one star. The hotel felt badly understaffed, with employees who didn't seem trained for the job. Breakfast was delayed on both mornings: the first day I had to leave without eating, and the second day my omelette sandwich and coffee took an hour. On the third morning I ordered through swiggy and had breakfast in 25 minutes. I also had to keep asking for toiletries and fresh towels, since housekeeping took the toiletries away without replacing them. I stayed three nights and checked in late in the evening. The first room was dirtier than my garage, with dirty linen, no toiletries or towels, and sheets that didn't even cover the mattresses. They had no other room available when I asked to move. After a lot of asking, I got a different room on the second day, but it still didn't feel like a Flagship stay. I was just moved from garbage to a room. This Oyo run hotel is managed worse than a 1-star budget hotel, so I don't understand how it can be called a Flagship. Oyo has its own idea of what “flagship” means, and this wasn't the experience you'd want from one. I'd give it -5 if that were possible.

The price was reasonable, but management was completely lacking. My room was dirty, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Plaster was coming off the walls. The staff seemed sincere, but couldn't manage even the basic tasks. I'm thoroughly disappointed if this is how OYO manages its hotels.
