The location is great, with lovely views, and the patio is full of well-kept plants. It could have been a really good place for the price, but the accommodation was disappointing and the staff were frustrating to deal with. The rooms were dirty, the sheets didn’t seem fresh, and some pillows smelled of sweat. We didn’t raise it because we didn’t want to leave our rooms. We had three rooms booked and were the only guests, but staff stayed on site. They weren’t cooking or cleaning for us, and made a lot of noise while we were trying to sleep. We had to keep reminding them not to clatter around the kitchen at midnight or let their phones ring at 6 a.m. One room had no lock. While we were out, a staff member went in and used some soap and a razor. There were thick black hairs on what had otherwise been a fresh razor. The place is poorly managed and staffed, and we won’t be back.

We were four friends here for a weekend, and the quiet was a nice surprise. Even with all the party spots nearby, it felt relaxing and removed from Delhi’s usual hustle, with no outside disturbance. The terrace view is breathtaking, and the location puts you right among the nice cafes in Hauz Khas. The caretaker was really sweet and helpful. It’s a little expensive, though staying in an area like Hauz Khas comes at a price. I’d rate the experience 4/5.

We stayed with friends for a day a few days ago and had booked two rooms. The dogs were friendly and the view was amazing, but we had to clean the rooms ourselves. For ₹10k a day, that was disappointing. The fridge and kitchen were dirty too. A little more care with hospitality and cleanliness would have made the stay better.

The host and staff were fantastic, and this is a beautiful BnB tucked into the trendy Hauz Khas Village area. Just be ready for the stairs: it’s four flights up, the place is behind a blue door, and luggage needs to be easy to carry.

A clean, sweet little place with a romantic feel, overlooking the Lake. It’s tucked away in HKV, and the owner Sukomal is friendly and very laid-back. You can cook whatever you like in the Kitchen, which makes it great for solo travellers. If you’re coming to Delhi for a day or two to enjoy the gorgeous winter weather, this would be perfect. I’m definitely coming back.
