The towels were really dirty, and cleanliness was a problem throughout. Guests often smoked in rooms and corridors despite the hotel’s no-smoking policy. When we asked about all the smoke, the hotel said they were helpless to stop people. They also refused to give us spoons for food we’d ordered from outside, and couldn’t even provide ice. Our food bill was inflated. When we checked it, they said they couldn’t produce the correct bill because one had already been generated. The rooms were below standard too. We’ll never stay here again.

Everything from the room to the complimentary breakfast was good, and the reception staff were smiling and cooperative. The only issue was morning tea, which for some reason wasn’t served until after 8 am. Otherwise, good work.

Great location and connectivity, with brilliant people to deal with. For its price range, the Deluxe rooms are spacious, and the room and staff hospitality are just too good. The food is decent, though breakfast is just ok-ok. It’s perfect for a price tag of 3/3.5. Ask for road/side-facing Deluxe rooms, which are well lit and have some view. Never try the restaurant on the 1st floor. It’s a separate restaurant, not part of the hotel, and just an overpriced pseudo-luxury dining place.

I stayed for 3 days. The rooms were quite good and well arranged, and the hotel staff cooperated well. The food tasted good too.

The room, location, and staff all get 5/5 from me. Room service was good, and the food is costly. Breakfast gets 3/5, and overall I’d rate the stay 3.5/5. Please note, smoking rooms are available here, so if you’re sensitive to that, check your room before staying. I didn’t notice smoke smell in mine. Hotel madison, please improve the breakfast menu. There are very few choices, and the food quality could be a bit better.
