We were told there’d be a complimentary bonfire, but arriving an hour late because of traffic was enough for them to refuse to arrange it. There was no attempt to understand or help. Then the staff became rude, used inappropriate language, and threatened to remove us from our rooms. The change in attitude was striking. They seemed friendly before we paid, but that didn’t last. Around 10 PM they began telling us not to talk or play music, while nearby properties had music on. It felt controlling and unfair. This was an extremely disappointing stay. The hotel fell short of basic hospitality, courtesy, and respect, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Don’t rely on how they act at first, the service dropped off after payment.

We couldn’t get a proper meal here. The only option was butter toast and tea, and even the tea took an hour. There was no proper parking either. We ended up having lunch and dinner in Macleod ganj, but getting to the market means walking some distance every time. If you can’t walk that far or don’t have transport, I wouldn’t choose this homestay. On our last day, we found a large wild spider under the mattress. When we asked the staff boy to move us to another room, he refused, saying every room was booked, which was a lie. Thankfully we had the owner’s number and got moved for one night. The room itself was good and clean, but the staff made the stay unpleasant. They were very lazy and didn’t manage things properly.

A horrible experience. Poor service and unprofessional staff ruined our stay. I’d strongly suggest avoiding this place.

Even simple issues took too long to sort out, while communication felt dismissive. I was very disappointed by the hospitality. Guest satisfaction didn’t seem to matter here, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, respectful stay. There are better places where guests are treated with care.
