Hotel Red Velvet Inn by OYO Rooms

The rooms are small, the TV only has a basic local-brand channel pack, and although there's a water geyser, there's no button to switch it on. During my stay, not one staff member checked if I needed anything. At checkout, they were pushing customers to give a 5 star rating in the OYO app. At reception, I was told not to pay for hotel bookings online through OYO because the site is used for marketing and the hotel disagrees with OYO over pricing. They also weren't happy to let me check in, though they eventually honored the paid booking unwillingly. This was after the original OYO hotelier refused to honor my paid reservation and I was moved here after calling the care number. I don't want to repeat this experience. My advice is to never use OYO rooms for hotel bookings.
