Hotel Marine View

I stayed for one day on 13th Dec 2015 and enjoyed it. The room was spacious and very clean, the service was prompt, and both the tasty breakfast and the dinner I ordered were very good. I’d like to visit again.

The room and bathroom were in awful shape and didn’t feel hygienic at all. There was dirt on the walls and table, the curtains were dirty, the almirah was dusty and stained, the towels weren’t fresh, and the bathroom mirror was filthy. Staff were rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful whenever I asked for assistance. The Wi-Fi never worked either, which made an already frustrating stay worse. The hotel charges a very high price for poor facilities, bad cleanliness, and poor service. What we experienced was completely different from the pictures online. They said they’d give a discount, but instead they took breakfast off, which was really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a complete waste of money and a very disappointing experience.

The property is in a prime spot, near Jahaj Badi and within walking distance of the sea beach. Cleanliness needs attention. For the facilities listed by MMT, we had to ask the floor manager or reception every time before they provided them. After checking into the room, I found the main bathroom water tap wasn’t working and the geyser was off. They hadn’t provided an electric kettle or iron either. The hotel management needs to focus on these issues. The blanket cover was very old and had turned from white to cream. I stayed at Marine View hotel for two days. The service was very good, and the food quality was fantastic. All around, the service was really good.
