Our family arrived at Vivent hotel at 10:30 PM with a booking for two rooms at Rs. 3054, the discounted price after coupons. OYO had already sent me a booking confirmation, and I showed the messages at reception, but the hotel said it hadn't received anything through OYO and was reluctant to give us the rooms. I called the reception link number from OYO. The man who answered seemed uninterested, gave me a mobile number and told me to speak to that person. It was the Manager, who also said they had received no message from OYO. When I called the reception link again, he said he wanted to talk to the Manager, so I handed the phone over. After a long discussion, they demanded another 1000 RS for the rooms, and I was forced to pay it. I'm sure the hotel manager and the guy from OYO were working together to get extra money. OYO should screen hotels properly before listing them on its website.

Never book this hotel. Management was unethical: they cancelled my OYO booking after taking the booking amount, then denied me check-in and said the hotel charges were ₹5000+.
