The price felt hard to justify given how the stay went. The room seemed old with only a light renovation, and the promised garden-view balcony had no garden view. Basic items were missing too, including a toothbrush and toothpaste, and the bathroom was very basic. Getting there was a hassle through narrow lanes, especially by car. Parking was in an open plot across from the hotel, not on the property. Inside, the fridge and kettle didn’t work, the TV had no active setup box recharge, and the old AC leaked water into the room all night. I told staff several times, but they never properly fixed it. Service was extremely slow. Even simple requests took repeated reminders, and reception wasn’t very helpful. The dal was bland, like tadka had just been added on top without proper preparation. The stay fell far below expectations for the amount charged. I wouldn’t recommend it without major improvements.

Ms. Mahi at reception was helpful and gave us lots of useful details. Our room was clean, and we had a comfortable stay with good service. It felt like good value for money, and I’d happily recommend it.

The garden restaurant and bar has a relaxing setup, though there was sometimes a smell from the toilet in front of it. Better ventilation or a different placement could make that area more enjoyable. At Hotel Ankur, the food was delicious, and the restaurant and bar service was good. Staff were polite, attentive, and quick to respond. They were also open to personal food requests when possible. The dining area could use that small improvement, but the food and cooperative service made for a pleasant stay.

The team helped me a lot during my stay in Diu, and Ms. Mahi was especially supportive, assisting me every day. The food was very good too. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Thanks to the team 👍
