Hillscape Inn

The people made our six-night stay at Hillscape Inn feel like home. Mr Gulzar (the father of Mr Nasir) is a lovely old man with a warm heart, and Mr Habib and Mr Ashraf were always smiling and quick to help without complaint. Our driver sahab, Mr Imteyaaz, was friendly too. Thanks to Mr Nasir for creating such a welcoming homestay. I’ll miss it and plan to come back to Kashmir and stay here again. The balcony view was splendid, with Dal Lake and the surrounding mountains in sight. We spent hours there. The place was quiet, peaceful, and super clean. Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Dal Lake are within walking distance, and there’s a nice road to walk along in the morning. If you love nature, I’d recommend it.

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, with its good range of fresh options, and the car parking felt perfectly secure. The hosts, The hotel's owner Mr.Nasir & his father Mr. Gulzar, were attentive and made sure our needs were met without hovering. My family and I stayed at A Home stay The Hotel Hillscape Inn for five nights. Check-in went smoothly, and we felt welcome right away. Our room was immaculate, had everything we needed, and offered stunning mountain and Dal lake views. The location was handy for Nishat Garden, Dal lake, and restaurants, all a short walk away. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend The hotel Hillscape Inn for a relaxing break.

The room they showed us while booking wasn’t the one we got. The replacement was worse, which felt like a complete fraud. I was booked for three nights, but even one felt like too much. The rooms were tiny and uncomfortable, breakfast was horrible, and the staff acted as if simply being there was a favor. Hillscape Inn would spoil your mood and waste your money.

The owner was very soft and cooperative, and the hotel had a homely feel. I stayed four nights and would strongly recommend it to families coming to Srinagar. It’s calm and green, in a central location, and seems like a good choice for a pleasant stay.
