We booked two rooms through an app, but the TV didn't work in either one, and the rooms were dirty. The sheets were stained, one room had no sheets at all, and the bedsheets and towels we requested were old, filthy rags that we couldn't use. For the price and advertised facilities, I expected a lot more. At the front desk, the older man was rude. Even though we'd booked, we had to convince him of it, and sorting that out took far too long. I wouldn't recommend Megha Tourist home and will look for somewhere better next time. I booked through Agoda after calling the hotel and being told there were no rooms available, and to call again after 12 PM. During that call, they agreed to a one-hour late checkout. But when I arrived, the receptionists were rude because I'd booked online and refused the late checkout, saying it wasn't allowed for online bookings. It felt like they favor direct bookings for the extra profit and treat online guests badly. Very unprofessional, and the room I got was in terrible condition too.

Every ten minutes through the night, the power went out because the electrical lines weren't good. The staff didn't seem to know how to check it. This was the worst stay of my life, and I couldn't sleep. Since there was no option below one star, that's what I'm giving. If you're travelling from kochi to somewhere else, please don't stay here.

The musty smell in the room made it uncomfortable, and the whole place felt unclean. The bed was itchy and didn't seem properly cleaned, and the blanket smelled bad. I was extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend staying here.
