Hotel Prayana

The staff were attentive and helpful the whole time. Our room was comfortable and clean, with excellent design and amenities. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this place.

The food was excellent, and everyone enjoyed the traditional Kerala dishes. We went to Hotel Prayana for the MTAPE meeting, which was beautifully organized. It’s easy to reach, so getting there was hassle-free, and the calm, professional atmosphere suited meetings and group discussions. The staff were polite and professional. Highly recommended!

Prayana Hotel was a great venue for business meetings. The ambience is elegant, the rooms are spotless, and the food was outstanding in both quality and presentation. Staff were genuinely courteous, and service was prompt and professional from check-in through check-out. Highly recommended.

The location is the main plus: the hotel is two minutes’ walk from the railway station, with a nearby tea stall and vegetarian restaurant, and a calm, tree-lined setting. Although it’s right by Ernakulam town railway station, outside noise wasn’t much of a disturbance. The rooms were only okay and weren’t well maintained. The front desk boy knew only Malayalam, not Tamil, English, or Hindi, and wasn’t helpful. We arrived around 7.45AM and he flat-out refused early check-in, saying no rooms were available. After trying the manager three or four times, we got approval for four hours at an extra Rs. 1000, but the front desk person hadn’t even told us about the charge. Overall, it’s an okay type of stay, but the hotel itself is a no.
