Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff seemed well trained. The room was in very good shape, and from a higher floor you can get a nice view of the backwaters. Parking is limited and feels dated. Breakfast was a letdown: there were few choices, no typical Kerala dishes, and the curries didn’t seem to use Kerala spices.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the reception team was friendly and helpful when I checked in. I paid 3k for the stay, though, and wasn’t convinced it was fully worth that price. The facilities overall could use some maintenance and upgrades.

The staff were cordial and helpful, and service was good. Rooms are decent sized, but the food menu is seriously limited. The pakoda and tea were good; the biryani, though, was more like tomato rice with chicken. The buffet was decent.

The front office staff were pleasant and helpful, and breakfast had a good spread. During busy hours, though, the dining area gets noisy, with all the conversations echoing around. I think it needs sound padding. My room, 719, had a comfortable bed, clean toilet and linen, and a compact layout that was well thought out. Food and room service have plenty of room to improve.

The staff were professional and friendly, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the hospitality here. Had a wonderful stay!
