Hotel Prashant International

We stayed three days and had a VERY GOOD experience. The staff were nice, and Mr. Prashant, the in-charge, was especially pleasant. The rooms are normal, with AC or without, and the food was surprisingly good. Try the home-style Aloo paratha, Aloo jeera and Mix veg. It’s a calm, good location and a nice hotel for a family stay. Gandhidham is a little out of the way and transport options are limited: SHARE AUTO is the only way to get around, with no Ola or Uber. Ask the hotel reception about a share auto to the airport or station. Some negative reviews seem to expect too much for a Rs.1000/1200 category hotel. You aren’t paying 5K a night, so don’t expect 5-star service too. Wanting both cheap rates and 5-star service doesn’t go hand in hand.

The hotel’s actual condition was nowhere near the old, misleading photos on its website. Garbage was lying around, furniture was broken, and the premises looked poorly maintained. My room and washroom were filthy and unhygienic. The sheets were stained, the floor was dirty, and the washroom smelled foul. Cleaning and maintenance clearly weren’t a priority. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, with no professionalism or apparent interest in assisting guests. One of the worst stays I’ve had. This place doesn’t deserve even one star.

A really bad stay at Prashant international hotel in Gandhidham. Staff spoke to guests very rudely and used abusive words in front of them. The rooms were third class, the washrooms very dirty, and there was a cigarette smell coming from the hotel.

I stayed just one night because the service was so bad. There was no bulb in the washroom; when I told the manager, he said one would be available tomorrow. The AC wasn’t working properly either. Rates were very high for such low service, and the rooms weren’t suitable for a family stay.
