Hotel Prayosha

Cockroaches in the bedsheet and an AC that didn't work properly made for a terrible stay. The cleanliness was unhygienic, and the service wasn't up to standard. Only book if you want a budget-friendly hotel and can put up with the service.

It can be hard to find a good hotel in Gandhinagar, and this one wasn't ideal for our one-day stay at Hotel Prayosha. The rooms were fairly small, the pillow covers were dirty, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. We even found cigarette butts in there.

I had a very bad experience with an advance booking cancellation. The hotel representative first promised the amount would be returned to my UPI, then blocked my number instead, and I never got the refund. Be careful, and consider staying at another nearby hotel. GST was included in the room charge, but they added a separate 12% charge too. This hotel should also be listed as tax evaders.

After paying the full bill online on Oyo, I was still denied check-in. It took a long discussion with the manager before they finally let me stay in the room I'd already paid for. I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else who has paid in advance. Hotel Prayosha used to be very good, and our earlier visits were much better. This time the service had gone downhill. They don't have their own lunch or dinner service, so you have to go downstairs to find a restaurant or order through the hotel, which gets a parcel from a restaurant of its choice. That delivery was awful. The delivery person didn't seem to realize it was food, and it arrived scattered around inside the packet. The room wasn't very clean, the bedsheets had oil stains, and the trays used for serving coffee were stained with who knows what. It was an awful experience, and we expected much more from Prayosha based on our previous stays.
