I stayed at Doma Residency from 28/12/25 to 30/12/25. Its location on MG Marg road was the one good thing. My non-view room, room no 601, was large, but the wardrobe smelled bad and was dirty. The only staff member I saw besides receptionist Ritesh was nobody, so there was no room service. The in-house restaurant felt spooky in the evening because there were no lights. United Tours & Travel operates a travel desk inside the hotel, and I found the person running it to be a big-time scammer. When I booked, I spoke with Subhajit Sinha, but he seemed to disappear by the time I arrived. I'd asked not to be put on the top floor, and they gave me a room on the 4th floor. The stairs between the 3rd and 4th floors stayed dark, which made the place feel spooky. My stay at Doma was pathetic. Travellers shouldn't waste their hard-earned money lodging here when there are lots of other hotels on MG Marg.

I wouldn't give this property even one star. The rooms are very dirty, and you can't get anything here, not even hot drinking water. The service is very bad. Don't visit.

The mattress, sheets, and blankets smelled bad, and the rooms had a damp, musty odor too. Cleanliness and upkeep were very poor. Staff sleep until 9 AM, so early service isn't available, and room service was slow and very bad. After 9 PM the gate is shut. You have to keep calling or banging on the shutter until someone lets you in, which is inconvenient and unprofessional. The location is the only good thing about this hotel. I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

We had a power cut for a long time, and my room had neither a mountain view nor a market view. The cafeteria does have an open view, though, and the hotel is right on MG Marg itself. The rooms were good, the staff very nice, and the food very tasty. Overall, a good experience.

The room was unsanitary and clearly not kept to proper cleanliness standards, especially the very dirty bathroom. Staff seemed indifferent to what guests needed, making the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. The hospitality and hygiene were among the worst I've experienced.
