Hotel Trilok

I recently visited Hotel Trilok with my girlfriend. Two people at reception stared at us, made us pay first, and only then gave us a room. Their behavior wasn't good either.

A better set of facilities for any occasion.

This is a third-class hotel in Kotdwar. It was unhygienic and the washroom was awful. Room 401 had no geyser, so the staff told us to bathe in the staff washroom. We had to go there for our visit to Sidhbali temple. I called reception at 09 and asked for another room with a geyser because we couldn't bathe in that dirty staff bathroom. They said that was the only option, even though the whole hotel was empty. I shared some photos of the room and washroom, but forgot to take any of the staff washroom.

The food was good and cleanliness was okay, but the stay was expensive. The location is in the heart of this small city, though that’s true of nearby hotels too. The blankets had no covers, which seemed unhygienic. We weren't staying overnight, so we didn't bother. All the rooms are open for smoking.
