TIH Bhaga Eco Camp

We had parking space, and the camp sits in a really scenic spot with the river alongside it. We booked two clean tents, each with an attached washroom, and there were enough blankets to keep four people warm in one tent. Dinner and breakfast were good too. The one awkward bit was bathing since the water was cold, so we had to make do with a dry clean, but it was fine. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it at Jispa.

There’s plenty of room for badminton and other activities, and the owner also arranges a campfire. We enjoyed sitting by the river, though I wouldn’t suggest heading down there for food or drinks in the evening or when the tide is high. The place is clean, airy, and has a fresh feel. It’s about 40 feet below the road and roughly 3 feet above the river, a fun spot for time with friends or family.

The buffet dinner was included and tasted great for this area, and breakfast was just as good. At night we enjoyed the bonfire. There are about 30 tents beside the river, all neat and clean, warm and cosy, with washrooms that were up to standard. Warm water is available if you ask, and the tent construction helps keep things a little warmer. Two chairs outside the sleeping area give it a balcony-like feel. We had a lovely stay. The only thing missing was a mirror in the tent.

The camp lighting looks superb, and there’s a kitchen and dining hall with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The tents are decent and have attached bathrooms, whose floors are covered in rounded stones and pebbles, a nice touch. The camp is right by the river, with a scenic mountain view in every direction and a few snow-capped peaks.
