OYO 9779 Hotel Kama International

We left within 30 minutes of checking in because the hotel smelled foul and was dirty and unhygienic throughout. When we told the staff why we were leaving, they still charged us for a full day's stay. The bedsheets and towels were dirty, the washroom was unclean and poorly maintained, and the air conditioner leaked water onto the table. The beds were very uncomfortable, with worn spring mattresses that bounced too much. The room we received was completely different from the one shown on the hotel's website. There is no hotel parking, and only three-wheelers can easily reach the property. I'd advise future guests to inspect the room before handing over ID or finishing check-in. I also advise people not to rely on the good reviews on the hotel website, as I'm sure they weren't written by genuine guests.

The stay was pathetic. The rooms were cramped, full of mosquitoes, and had no ventilation. The bathroom was small, and in December there was no hot water for bathing. The staff stubbornly refused to provide hot water at all. The photos on the booking site were outdated, and the property is down a by-lane where cars can't get in easily. Even if a car makes it in, it's bound to get stuck in a jam. If half a star had been an option, that's what I would've chosen. The service was among the worst.

I paid nearly 3500, but didn't stay. I had booked two queen-size-bed rooms for my family and only wanted to stay for two hours. The room was very, very dirty, and the AC wasn't working. When I asked about it, the manager said he would check. His behavior didn't seem that of an educated person. I travel all over India, and this was my first experience this poor. I'd ask educated, decent people not to go to this hotel.

The service was good, though the hotel is a bit expensive. Its location on a street is an issue if you have your own vehicle, since you'll need to park elsewhere.
